Academy Villas, a 9,000 square foot building with spectacular views of the Rincon Mountains, is single story, laid out in a centralized plan with the building's twelve suites radiating off the central shared space.

The communal space at the heart of the Villa has an open kitchen where meals are prepared, an open dining area flanked by a fireplace and a large living room and library. At the back of the home, a sprawling flagstone patio has views up to the Rincon Mountains. Each suite has large windows, high ceilings, large closets and a spacious bathroom with luxurious fixtures, granite countertops and roll-in showers. All construction is LEED Gold certified,and we are the only assisted living community in the state of Arizona to have such a designation. We have the DOE “Energy Star” rating. Water heating is solar.

Without a loss of privacy, the floor plan of the Villa invites the kind of shared community living that infuses all of Academy Village: warm, supportive, friendly, and fun. ‘Villagers’ enjoy the responsibility of developing community traditions that complement the offerings of Wellness, Fitness and the Arizona Senior Academy. Residents of the new Academy Villas will develop their own programs, as well as have full access to those of Academy Village.
